DAC Joins the Kindness Rock Project!

On Feb 19th the Young Adult Independent Living Skills & Social Group joined the Kindness Rocks Project. The goal is to promote random acts of kindness to unsuspecting recipients by painting and dropping inspirational rocks throughout our community. All rocks are unique and created to reflect hope and inspiration. These rocks include #DACoutreach on the back and asks that the “finder” of the rock go online and post a picture of the rock they found with #DACoutreach in the posting. Who will be the first to find a Kindness Rock??

DAC Needs Help!

If you or someone you know has a truck and is willing and able to pick up donations in Pinellas County, we are able to reimburse mileage at 50 cents/mile. We have a ramp that will make it easy to load power wheelchairs. If interested, please call 727-539-7550 and ask for Ashley. Thanks in advance and please share!

Bridgeway Church Hosts Non- Profit Expo

I had the pleasure and opportunity to share Disability Achievement Center services with the congregation at Bridgeway Church on Sunday, February 16th. Pastor Joel Eason gave a moving sermon about Living in Color… Doing good work is a way to live in color. I’d have to admit that Disability Achievement Center is mighty colorful!! Thanks for hosting us @bridgewaytampa !
